I know I’m in the minority but I actually enjoyed the Book of Boba Fett in a sort of cheesy, entertaining way…my only qualm is that I liked the mystery of Fett’s fate and I thought the reveal in the Mandalorian was anticlimactic. Maybe it would have been better as a compressed Star Wars Visions type tale or something.
I have a feeling that a bunch of more talented people turned down the chance to run The Rings of Power. The fact that it’s based on an appendix and they can’t flesh it out with anything from the Silmarillion (since they don’t have the rights to it) make me feel like it would be really hard for anyone to make it work.
But because it is based only on some appendages offers the opportunity to explore other parts of the map. In my version, besides the scenes about Anatar and exploring the kingdoms of men and dwarves (especially the monumental Moria), in order to have racial inclusion, I would have explored the 'Africa' of middle.earth. As in the movie The Gladiator, some 'merchants' from Haran are searching among the remnants of a battle and find a wounded Elf that they capture and take him to the 'Egypt' of middle.earth. There they sell him as a gladiator, but the princess, who grew up hearing stories about Elves, asks to be brought to the palace as a servant. They become friends, then lovers and she gets pregnant. A representative from the Numenor Empire comes to buy slaves, he sees the Elf and kills him before he could be stopped by the king, who was afraid of these numenorians. The king lies to the princess that the elf was taken by the numenorian (he does not know she is pregnant) but she has her suspicions. She gives birth to a boy with pointy ears that is trained at the palace. In another visit of the numenorian the boy draws his ear and hears the truth about his father's death, swering to have his revenge. He does so when he grows older by joining a slave group that is sent to go to Numenor (where some of them are to be brought as a sacrifice to Morgoth) that is already in the hands of Sauron and is preparing to invade Valinor. There he kills his father's killer and manages to save more human slaves (on the island were orc slaves too) and to escape the 'Flood' to the mainland ...

Doesn't matter. The point of being a critic is to critique, which means to give construction criticism, not shit all over literally thousands of people's artwork that they poured countless hours into. To say any of these shows are terrible is just objectively wrong. The production value alone on every show on this list is top notch from costume/wardrobe, cinematography and world building, all amazingly done. Your articles read like you're a jaded hack who could never make it to the writers table of one of these shows. And that's my critique of your article.
While I was more impressed with The Walking Dead—in spite of its finale doing more pitching spin-offs than being a true ending—Obi-Wan Kenobi—its length, but that reunion fight, though—and She-Hulk—humour didn't always land for me, but Daredevil's return, though—won't bother with The Witcher: Blood Origin, and feel I need to re-watch The Rings of Power—having also enjoyed it more—I almost fully agree with Fear the Walking Dead taking #1 on this list. Although its first season has yet to finish in 2023, somehow, The Rookie: Feds takes the cake of the worst TV show of 2022 for me. As a spin-off from the great The Rookie, it feels like a parody over its mother series, like Fear is to The Walking Dead, and that's just from its first episode. Its later episodes either hardly got better or were still as bad. At least one of these crappy spin-offs will meet its end sooner than later.

It had its moments but it did Boba Fett dirty.

Yeah quite possibly. Though I'm sure it would also be very tempting with that juicy budget...
These are not so much THE WORST as they are MOST DISAPPOINTING
Ring was okay but not Up to the lord of rings standard
Talk about pretentious..... This f#$@ing "article"....jeeeeze. Also, why don't you say "jump the shark" again.....
Please quote where I said "jump the shark" more than once in this article Floyd.
Wasn't talking about just this article bud.
What article are you talking about?

From the book of stupid fallacies: "you can't say this young adult book is drivel before you write a better one yourself".
Seriously! He obviously has terrible taste in shows. Most of these were great

Good job.
