A useful term, but 'woke' has its drawbacks no matter how you use it these days. Maybe it's time to come up with something less divisive and more accurate.
Wow that was beautifully concise! And much needed context to the everchanging socio-political world, I think there are many people that have this exact sort of internal battle right now, where not choosing sides IS choosing sides, regardless of affiliation/beliefs.

I often call them cult because they mostly at like a authoritarian mandatory cult. And I agree also some far right is the same, the main difference between them is semantics.
Unfortunately, "Woke" has very quickly evolved to its new meaning of not being socially progressive and in favour of actual social justice, but "social fascism", that embraces many of the tactics of the last "great" fascist reich...
You can start using a new term, but you'll likely be the only one doing it.
