I myself am a humor writer (albeit mediocre one), and you have the guts to say some of the things I’m not sure I could dare say for fear of being blacklisted among humor publications. I first discovered your writing a few years ago. I loved reading your Forbes reviews of Walking Dead episodes. I get that games and television are probably what you prefer to write about more, so that’s understandable, but I think it would be great if you continued with more societal observations. Hmm, from 2021 I really liked Squid Game except perhaps the last 2 episodes. Still looking forward to Season 2 (against better judgement). I watched the new Dune but didn't have time to read the book; I enjoyed the movie much more than that weird one from the 80s. I also played a lot of video games but almost none were released in 2021. What else? I just started going to the gym again after a pandemic-length hiatus and then we went back into pandemic mode due to omicron. Damn! I'm so out of shape it's just sad at this point.
Another thing I enjoyed in 2021 was Diabolical! Stay healthy and take care of yourself. Merry Christmas and New Year!
