Over here I get angry on a daily basis about how many people don't bother about the basic -obligatory- rules: Keep Your Distance (great song btw by Richard Thompson), wash your hands till they bleed and wear a face mask in the supermarket.
Thanks, Hans! Yep, hopefully more people keep taking basic precautions seriously and get the vaccine. I'm just grateful I didn't get this before I had mine, could have been a lot worse. (Or it could be that omicron is just more mild, who knows?)
Thanks for taking the time to let us know what you've been dealing with lately. The upside to Covid, (I had it just before Christmas for 10 days- it was not the best), is how great is feels on the first day you can really say you aren't sick anymore- just being "normal" again is an amazing feeling. "The secret to happiness is: Things suck. When they suck less, you feel happy."
Ouch, 10 days sounds awful. And yes, just being normal is a great feeling. Breathing normal feels so good! I'm also grateful I don't have these crazy lingering symptoms like loss of taste!
Thank you for sharing your experience. My husband and his daughter, now in her late 20s, have panic attacks. I appreciate your insights and perhaps it can help me when one of them has a similar experience.
I don't have panic attacks much these days. Had them a lot more in college. But they're really not fun at all! Exercise definitely helps but sometimes you just can't help it...it's just a spiral out of control.
Oh, awfully sorry to hear. This sounds really unpleasant, but thankfully you're better. Still, I admire the creativity of solving the issue by playing some rounds of CoD!
I hope you're doing better man. I had it through the holidays (thank you company X-mas party) and had the opposite of your experience, I didn't have any of the respiratory symptoms but pretty much all of the other ones. I was double vaxxed but not boosted at the time so it cleared up in a few days but the lingering symptoms are not fun. When my sense of smell/taste started to return everything started to smell like rotten milk and 2 weeks later it still does. I think there's still a lot about this virus that's not fully understood so you're right to say nobody should take this lightly or like it's "just a cold"
Hang in there bro!

As gamers said, git gud. Or better. Better is a good start. Take care.
Haha, git gud indeed. Appreciate it.
Get well soon brother 💪🏼

Ha, thanks. Guess CoD really has become a kind of therapy for me!
Hope things get better all around, dude.
Oh, that is truly scary. I hope you fully recover soon. Thanks for sharing your experience.
I feel like where I live (Sydney), it's not If, but When now. Despite being triple vaxxed and pretty careful...
