here's a song I wrote called Vellum
I know you don't follow me for my music, but I'm still going to share it with you whether you like it or not!
I just posted this version of my song, Vellum, a remixed version of a song I wrote quite a long time ago.
My brother, Taylor, is a magnificent pianist and he plays keys on the track. My friend, Brent, who was born on the exact same day as your humble narrator, plays the drums. I play guitar (acoustic and electric) and added in the horns via my keyboard. I also sing vocals and back-up vocals.
All of this I recorded on my PC and edited myself. It’s amateur but I think the result speaks to the labor of love that went into it, or at least I hope so.
It’s a bummer of a song, no doubt, but catchy in its own way. My favorite part is the instrumental at the end. It gives me goosebumps and I love listening to Taylor hitting all those gorgeous notes, and Brent raging away on the drums.
As for the video, I found this weird old nuclear war propaganda film and used that with very light editing. It fit so perfectly. For this version of the video I overlaid some footage of myself singing/recording. I’m happy with the result for the most part. Lyrics can be found in the video description if you’re curious. Hope you enjoy! And if you do enjoy, feel free to share it with your friends.

That was really good. I’m so glad I clicked. It’s a catchy tune and my kids enjoyed the video.
I commented on the YouTube version too but, I follow Diabolical for you, so your music definitely falls under the same umbrella.
